The prisoner who allegedly set a fire Thursday afternoon at the Columbia County Justice and Detention Facility has been charged with 10 counts of attempted murder.
Sheriff Leroy Martin told local media the fire was apparently set as part of an escape attempt, however, all of the 88 male and female prisoners at the facility are accounted for.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Office has issued a call for information about three homicide cases, and a fourth that may also be a murder.
