Wolf attack in French family's garden prompts new demands for a cull
Controversy over the spread of wolves in France has increased following the publication of a video showing a pack attacking a deer in the back garden of a family home.The footage, taken by the homeowners from an upstairs window, shows four wolves surrounding the deer in Les Rousses, a village in the Jura mountains near the Swiss border. The couple, who have not been named, express shock, saying: “I don’t want to see this”. They interrupted the attack by opening the window to scare off the predators.
