Four Winhawk swimmers bound for state

It was a good day for the Winhawk swim team at the Section 1A meet last Thursday afternoon. Our guys notched a very impressive 38 of 42 total swims that were personal bests. However, our guys learned that you can’t appreciate the taste of success without the bittersweet taste of struggle.
That sour taste was fed to us early on by an unfortunate disqualification in the 200 medley relay. Colin White, Julius Hanson, Brayden Coudron, and Gavin Nelson all swam personal bests and notched the state cut time, finishing in 1:41. Sadly, it was judged that a relay exchange left a bit early and dreams of attending state in the relay were dashed. ....
