The Port City Blues Society held the Road to Memphis competition Saturday night between two bands to decide who would represent the Pine Bluff nonprofit in the 39th annual International Blues Challenge held in Memphis each January.
Thirty-plus music lovers braved storms and a downtown deluge to fill the Bistro of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff s Business Support Incubator, 615 S. Main St., on March 24.
