On Saturday, the Libby Hostel Base Camp is sponsoring a winter outdoor educational program. The program on animal tracking and winter birding is slated to start at 9 a.m. MST at the Venture Inn at 1015 U.S.2 in Libby, Mont.
The program will cover the basic measurements and techniques used in animal and bird tracking and sign interpretation methodology.
It begins at 9 a.m. in the Viking Room of the Venture Inn (1015 U.S. Highway 2) in Libby). A short introduction includes the basics of tracking, tree and plant identification and winter birding for about 40 minutes.
