At the Google I/O developer conference Tuesday May 14, 2024, Google parent Alphabet released several updates across the Gemini family of Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, including the new 1.5 Flash which is a lightweight AI model for speed and efficiency and Firebase Genkit, an open source framework.
