More than two dozen children and adults were on hand Saturday, May 25, at the Keene Memorial Library for the inaugural Library Chess Club event hosted in conjunction with local chess education nonprofit, Fremont ChessFest, Inc. Kids from age 5-years-old through teens joined adults and organizers for more than an hour of learning, games and chess fun in what is the first of a new monthly event hosted at the city library, said Dylan Cardiff, a board member with Fremont ChessFest, Inc.
