This election comes after the fall's election results were nullified by the National NAACP following an investigation into voter fraud allegations. Michael R. La'Fitte II to head Shreveport NAACP Chapter as president.
The second-round election for officers of the Shreveport NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) Chapter resulted in a new president. Michael R. La'Fitte II is the new winner with 80 votes in this second-round election. Rev. Calvin Austin, the winner in the first election, had 66 votes and Rev.
