Outside a bar in camden. A judge sentenced him to 70 years in prison today. A jury convicted him back in may. He shot and killed Timothy Loper in december of 2013. Loper, a marine, served in afghanistan. He was trying to break up a fight outside a bar on 2nd and spruce when he was killed. His father was in the courtroom today. He says the sentencing does bring some closure. Justice was served for the murder act but the pain is not going away. We still feel the pain. Of losing my son.
