Owners of two holiday parks on the Lizard Peninsula say more than £2.5 million has been invested in getting them ready for the new season. Parkdean Resorts operates two parks there – Lizard Point (formerly Mullion Holiday Park) and Sea Acres near Kennack Sands, which in 2020 welcomed 37,192 visitors. The money has been spent on installing new accommodation and upgrading existing caravans and lodges, as part of a £70 million investment nationwide. Called the West Kernow Way, the 150-mile route begins and ends in Penzance and is designed to take four days to complete.
