Election 2021: City council candidates

In May's general election, one of the races voters will be making their voices heard on is who will be four members of the city council for Amarillo for the next term.
The new members of the city council will join the person elected to be Amarillo's mayor, a race which is also on May's election ballot. A preview for that specific race ran previously in print and is available on the Amarillo Globe-News website.
The Globe-News reached out to all 12 candidates running for the four places on Amarillo's city council. Each candidate was asked a set of questions via email, and those answers are presented in a question and answer format below.
