For lifelong music fan Matt Smith, of Marshfield, his latest job made perfect sense. On February 2, Smith, who is already the managing director of the fabled Club Passim in Harvard Square, hosted his first edition of WMVY radio’s The Local Music Café.
The show airs at 9 p.m. Tuesdays on the Martha’s Vineyard based station (88.7 FM, also carried on 96.5 FM in Newport) and is re-broadcast at 8 p.m. Sundays. The shows are also available on MVYRadio.org, where all previous shows are also archived.
