Alma Terry Mynatt, 94, of Hixson, died on April 20, 2021. 
She spent her final years living in Garden Plaza of Cleveland, Tn., where she grew to love and appreciate the kindness and expertise of the staff.  Born in Knoxville, she was the daughter of the late Maynard and Viva Sharp Terry.  She was a 1944 graduate of Oneida High School.  She worked for the Tennessee Railroad for over four years. She received her degree from Tennessee Technological University and then moved to Chattanooga and was employed by E.I. duPont de Nemours for three years. She married Eugene Mynatt on January 2, 1954. In her later years, she taught business classes at Edmondson Business School, McKenzie Business School, National School of Business, and East Ridge High School. ....

Mary Lou Ziegler Lyons, 94, went to be with her Savior on February 2, 2021.
She was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, October 31, 1926, to the late Ed and Esther Ziegler. At nine years of age, her parents moved to Frankfort, Kentucky, where she became a Christian at the age of 12. She graduated from high school, having received the Bausch and Lomb three-year science award and the Valedictory award. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. She taught school for three years, having previously married her high school sweetheart. Following several transfers as her husband was employed with the Bell Telephone System, they made Chattanooga their permanent home. ....
