Lyons, Mary Lou Ziegler Friday, February 5, 2021 Mary Lou Ziegler Lyons, 94, went to be with her Savior on February 2, 2021. She was born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, October 31, 1926, to the late Ed and Esther Ziegler. At nine years of age, her parents moved to Frankfort, Kentucky, where she became a Christian at the age of 12. She graduated from high school, having received the Bausch and Lomb three-year science award and the Valedictory award. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. She taught school for three years, having previously married her high school sweetheart. Following several transfers as her husband was employed with the Bell Telephone System, they made Chattanooga their permanent home.
