Updated 5/5/2021 10:01 AM Lombard s annual Lilac Time opened May 1 with blue skies and the scent of lilacs in the air. Though the festival has been scaled back this year, Lilacia Park is still awash with blooms. Visitors are asked to wear face coverings and maintain a six-foot social distance. ....

Updated 4/22/2021 3:45 PM The annual Lombard Lilac Parade has been postponed due to concerns about the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Lombard village officials and the parade committee and have tentatively rescheduled it for Sunday, Sept. 19. But the new date is dependent on the state of Illinois entering Phase 5 of recovery.
