This follows a homeowner’s observations about the lack of maintenance carried out on the electricity poles on the verge outside his front yard in Taman Selesa. The consumer feared that the poles might topple onto his property as these structures had gradually been leaning over for months. A spokeswoman for the firm said an inspection was made of its installations along the housing road on the same day that the company became aware of the problem.

CITY Hall has dealt with the backyard drains in a Kepayan neighbourhood to ensure that water does not continue to stagnate inside. Action was also taken to rid the area of any mosquitoes which might have been breeding in these structures. A spokesman for the City Hall’s Landscaping Department said an inspection was carried out of the public areas, in front and at the back of homes, along Lorong Rampai.
