Crews respond to water rescue at Hazard Canyon Reef in Montana de Oro KSBY News and last updated 2021-01-30 15:53:51-05 Emergency crews responded to reports of a water rescue at Hazard Canyon Reef in Montana de Oro in Los Osos Saturday morning. According to a CAL FIRE SLO spokesperson, dispatchers received a report at approximately 11:14 a.m of a surfer who had possibly suffered a heart attack at the reef. Officials with CAL FIRE SLO, California State Parks and California Highway Patrol s H-70 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, crews found that the surfer was pulled from the water before emergency crews arrived at the scene, according to the CAL FIRE SLO spokesperson. ....
