Mississippi plane crash victims identified

The four people killed in Tuesday night’s plane crash in Hattiesburg were identified as a Hattiesburg man and three people, including a toddler, from Texas.
Gerry Standley, 55, was a resident of the home where the plane crashed.
Also killed were the pilot, 67-year-old Louis Provenza, 23-year-old Anna Calhoun and 2-year-old Harper Provenza, according to Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict.
It was unclear Wednesday how the three on board the plane were related.
University of Southern Mississippi officials said the three on the plane were coming to Hattiesburg to attend today’s commencement ceremony. They said they were family of a student at Southern Miss. ....

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (TNN) - Three people killed in a small plane crash in Mississippi have been identified as residents of Wichita Falls, including a surgeon from United Regional.

Multiple people, including a toddler, have died after a small plane crashed into a home in Mississippi.
The crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in the city of Hattiesburg, police said in a Facebook statement Wednesday.
Four people died in the crash: Hattiesburg resident Gerry Standley, 55, and Texas residents Louis Provenza, 67, Harper Provenza, 2, and Anna Calhoun, 23, police said in another statement Wednesday.

A National Transportation Safety Board team was in Hattiesburg, Miss on Thursday, examining the site of an airplane crash that killed four people, including three Wichitans.
The NTSB will be on-scene the next several days, said Alex Lemishko, a NTSB senior air safety investigator, during a news conference Thursday. We will be examining the machines, the environment, the pilot those sorts of things.
