Since monday is the columbus day holiday. Ac transit will run regular bus but on tuesday they will run extra buses if they are available. The ferries will have extra boats. The agency will extend the service hours. Chp will have carpool lanes from 5 00 a. M. To 7 00 p. M. That way they can accommodate more carpoolers. The last strike in july stranded 400,000 commuters.
