CMS Spring Career Fair Join us for the biggest event of the year on Saturday, May 4, 2024, 9:30am-11:30am (EST) at the Le Meridien. More than 180 schools and departments will be interviewing and selecting candidates for licensed/certified positions including teachers, psychologists, media specialists, and school counselors; we will also be hiring for non-instructional positions. If you have a bachelor’s degree in an area outside of education, but are interested in becoming a teacher, there are alternative licensure pathways to a teaching career; attend our event to learn more!

The Promise of Self-Government: History and American Democracy Join the Georgia Historical Society and the UVA Club of Savannah for a discussion with Dr. Sidney Milkis, the White Burkett Miller Professor in the Department of Politics at the University of Virginia and a Faculty Fellow at the UVA Miller Center. Dr. Milkis is the author of What Happened to the Vital Center: Presidentialism, Populist Revolt, and the Fracturing of America. As the Kickoff Event for GHS’s US250 commemoration, the program will feature a discussion exploring how the American experiment in self-government has evolved to meet the challenges of an ever-changing country over the last 250 years.
A Cappella Chorus Auditions Key of Q is a fun and welcoming a cappella chorus of LGBTQ+ and allied singers who join together to perform inspiring, entertaining, and uplifting music while developing excellent musicianship. We're looking primarily for sopranos and a beatboxer, but all voice parts are welcome to audition. We rehearse on Monday evenings.
