CUTTING METHANE: A new feed additive, tested over two years in Canada, shows promise to reduce methane emissions from cattle. The product would work in beef and dairy operations, and can be part of programs to help offset carbon emissions.
In a large-scale trial, Royal DSM saw emissions fall by as much as 80%.
