February 8, 2021 Throughout the month of February, the University of Maine New Balance Student Recreation Center will be hosting an indoor triathlon for students and staff to take part in. The triathlon includes a 2-mile run, a 500-meter swim and a 6-mile bike ride. Students can check their place in the standings online as new competitors’ times will be logged each week. Indoor Sprint Triathlon for Social Change In celebration of Black History Month, join the New Balance Student Recreation Centerâs first-ever Indoor Sprint Triathlon for Social Change. For the entire month of February, individually complete a 2-mile run (3.21 kms), a 500-meter swim (20 lengths), and a 6-mile (9.65 kms) bike ride.
