Nicole is in tallahassee, florida and told us how theyve been preparing for something of this magnitude. Ican i can tell you that the American Red Cross has been on the ground in florida and the South East for more than two weeks in response first to Hurricane Helene and now milton. We need to understand what the impacts will be across florida. There are shelters across the state for folks who are evacuating and i cannot stress enough how important it is, if you are being told to evacuate you absolutely need to follow his orders. We do not know what the storm can bring, we know it will be dangerous and they want folks to stay safe as possible. I5 and they want folks to
Per hour. And its barreling straight toward florida as a Cat Category four storm. People have across the state are trying to evacuate before it makes Landfall Tomorrow Night the city of tampa is in the storms bull bullseye. And later this hour we will get an update from the mayor. Shes already issued a blunt warning. If you stay in the Evacuation Zones, you who are going to die President Biden echoed that sentiment from the White House moments ago a potential for this storm to both enter florida as hurricane and leave Florida Hurricane on the atlantic coast this could be the worst Storm Hit Florida in over a century. And god willing, it wont be, but thats what its looking like right now. If youre under Evacuation Orders, you should evacuated. Now. Now now i should have already evacuated.
