EDMONTON — The mayor of Yellowhead County in west central Alberta says it's been "a real rodeo" in the area as residents deal with wildfires, rain and snow in the same month.
Wet, heavy snow — and lots of it — fell Monday in Jasper National Park, along Highway 93 south to Banff, and on Highway 40 north of the Yellowhead near Grande Cache.
Environment Canada has put out two highway alerts in Banff and Jasper national park as up to 25 centimetres of snow was forecast Monday.
