The teen accused of fatally shooting a Tacoma bagel shop owner while he visited New Orleans with his husband in early January has been transferred to adult court, according to Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office records.
Malik Cornelius, who is being charged as an adult, faces a charge of second-degree murder. A discovery hearing is set for Aug. 1.
