Alec Baldwin will not escape criminal charges over the death of Halyna Hutchins - but before today's decision, he has already been fighting legal battles against the Rust crew.
Hollywood actor and producer Alec Baldwin will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter of cameraman Galina Hutchins, which occurred in October 2021 on the set of Rust. This decision was made by Attorney for the First Judicial District of New Mexico Mary Carmack-Oltvis. Charges must be formally filed by the end of January 2023. If found guilty, the actor may face a prison term.
