Heart rate and oxygen measurements are also calculated into the equation. Taking into account all these risk factors, the algorithm allows providers to predict risk levels that can be used to determine best treatments.

The state’s official webpage now includes data for vaccines administered throughout the state and information on the gender, race and ethnicity of those that have received the first dose of the vaccine thus far. It also informs Marylanders what stage of the vaccine rollout the state is on. The data updates every 24 hours with a total and daily count of vaccines administered throughout the state. As of Dec. 29, there have been 28,615 total vaccinations, with 7,816 reported in the past 24 hours. ....
Cristal Gary named to Biden-Harris transition team Mansur Shaheen | Dec 28, 2020 Share this: Cristal Gary, the Chief Advocacy Officer for Amita Health, has been appointed to the Biden-Harris Agency Review Team for the Department of Health and Human Services. Gary previously served as the Deputy Governor of Illinois from 2011 to 2015. She has also served in multiple health care-related roles in the state, including serving as the Region V director of the Health and Human Services Department from 2009 to 2011. Gary was Illinois’ Medicaid director in 2009. She completed a masters degree in public policy at the University of Chicago in 2001.
She will be a part of a 50-person team tasked with preparing the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for transition to the Joe Biden administration in January. ....
