WHAT: The University of Rhode Island will mark a significant moment in its 130-year history when it celebrates the inauguration of Marc B. Parlange as the University’s 12th president on Thursday, Sept. 22, on the University’s Kingston Campus. The ceremonial event will include dignitaries from across Rhode Island and New England and will feature student performances.
