opening bell after the better than expected jobs report, but it has been up and down this morning. the dow is coming off yesterday's steep plunge right now, take a look, the dow down just about 24 points. of course we'll be watching the markets throughout the day. we'll get president obama's take on the july jobs report in a speech that begins any minute now. besides reacting to the unemployment numbers, the president is unveiling a new initiative to help military veterans find work. he is trying to shift the focus back to jobs after the drawn out drama over the debt ceiling. live ...
