Refracted Bodies For as long as humans have created artworks, they have created images depicting nude figures. They are everywhere â from marble antiquities to modern painting. Contemporary artist Mona Kuhn (b.1969) brings her own sensibility to photographing unclothed bodies. Through Kuhnâs lens, nudity becomes an egalitarian force, a form of spiritual kinship.
