Hot Springs' monthly Gallery Walk features the opening of new art exhibitions showcased in downtown fine art galleries and studio spaces from 5 to 9 p.m. today.

Red Curtain Theatre stages Meredith Willson's "The Music Man," 7 p.m. Thursday-Friday and Aug. 11-12 and 2 p.m. Saturday and Aug. 13, with a pay-what-you can, singalong performance at 2 p.m. Aug. 12, at Staples Auditorium, Hendrix College, 1600 Washington Ave., Conway.

"On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan," based on the story of the Hispanic pop queen and her husband, will be onstage 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Reynolds Performance Hall at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway.

Benton's Young Players Second Stage presents "Green Day's American Idiot," 7:30 p.m. today-Saturday and Jan. 12-14 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Jan. 15 at the Royal Theatre in Benton.

The New Year's Exhibit at Justus Fine Art Gallery, 827-A Central Ave., will feature a selection of work by artists including Mark Blaney, Donnie Copeland, Matthew Hasty, Robyn Horn, gallery owner Dolores Justus, Dennis McCann, Sammy Peters, Sandra Sell, and Gene Sparling.
