Postbank problems: Deutsche Bank boss Christian Sewing promises solution by the end of the year
The financial regulator has already strongly criticized the "profound disruptions in customer service" at Deutsche Bank's subsidiary Postbank. According to CEO Sewing, however, the problems can drag on for weeks. There are "three to four critical applications" in the conversion of IT systems, Sewing said at a Handelsblatt conference in Frankfurt. 400 to 500 additional employees are now dedicated to the topic, and the Supervisory Board is also involved, he said. The bank is "now on the right track", Sewing added.
