New Jersey grocery retailers can apply for grants to install refrigerated lockers for grocery delivery in food deserts
To bridge gaps in food access, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority has opened a grant program to incentivize grocery store owners to purchase refrigerated food lockers for grocery deliveries. These lockers would be installed in public spaces, like libraries and community centers, allowing residents in food deserts to pick up grocery deliveries when they're able.
