U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, twice-divorced, married Carrie Symonds in a private ceremony at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday, which drew the ire of well-known progressive Jesuit Father James Martin, an advocate for same-sex marriage. 

No 10 would not reveal where the prime minister and his wife went, but said he is now back at work.

Many Catholics are stunned that the marriage of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Carrie Symonds took place at the weekend in Britain’s most important Catholic institution, Westminster Cathedral.
