Mark Steene A FUNDRAISER who completed a 100-mile journey across North Wales in his wheelchair and raised thousands for charity has died. Mark Steene was determined to raise funds for the Wales Air Ambulance after the charity’s medics saved his life following a serious accident six years ago, which left him quadriplegic. In 2020, he completed the 100-mile charity and operated the wheelchair with his chin. The challenge took 23 days.
