Newark City Manager Tom Coleman announced on Tuesday that Acting Chief Mark Farrall has been chosen to lead the Newark Police Department (NPD) as Chief of Police effective February 1, 2023. A lifelong Newark resident, Mark Farrall is a graduate of Newark High School and University of Delaware.
