A lifelong area resident, he was born July 31, 1960 in Jamestown, N.Y., a son of Carl R. and Carol Sue Champlin Myers, Sr. Carl was a 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School. He was currently employed as a custodian for the Jamestown Public School System and had earlier worked for the former H&H Metal Specialty for 20 years. FAMILIES flocked to Lunderston Bay to soak up the sunshine yesterday afternoon. There was a holiday atmosphere as youngsters splashed about in the water, people enjoyed picnics and dog walkers enjoyed a stroll.
