State Advocate requests case to be heard with urgency after judge provisionally upholds BirdLife Malta’s request to stop the hunting of turtle dove in spring until case is heard on 19 April
A court has provisionally upheld a request by BirdLife to stop spring hunting for turtle dove and will consider the merits of the case in a sitting on Tuesday.
BirdLife Malta is very satisfied to receive the Court notification announcing that it has provisionally accepted a Warrant for Prohibitory Injunction filed earlier this week to stop the spring hunting season on the Vulnerable European Turtle-dove, while setting the date to hear the case and decide on the request on Tuesday 19 th April at 9am.
