Officers Shoot, Kill Suspect Armed With A Gun On A VIA Bus

Apr 20, 2021 An officer-involved shooting on a transit bus in San Antonio has left a man dead. Transit police shot a man who was said to be armed with a gun on a bus with other passengers. It happened at San Pedro and West Olmos. VIA Transit police chief Mark Witherell says they're lucky no one else was hurt. At least two shots were fired. None of the passengers or officers were injured. San Antonio police are assisting the transit police in investigating what took place leading up to the shooting.
