topic this week on "the communicators." markham erickson, could you explain what google did to change its privacy policy and why? >> guest: well, google announced about six weeks ago that it was preparing to change its privacy policy, the first time, i think, a company of that size has given that much time and engaged in that kind of education campaign. but what they did is they took diverse privacy policies that apply to some 70 different products that google provides, and they consolidated them into one single privacy policy that was uniform across all of those different products. ...
