Aspen city council candidates Sam Rose, Bill Guth, and incumbent Skippy Mesirow are vying for two seats on the council in the March 7 municipal election. Sam Rose, who ran for council once before, is a volunteer firefighter, a member of the city's planning and zoning commission, and would be the youngest-ever city council member at age 29.
