A school bus driver was killed after a car skidded on ice and hit his vehicle, a court has ruled.
Ian Fordyce suffered fatal injuries after his bus carrying 13 Lathallan School pupils was hit by an Audi near Maryculter Bridge in December 2017.
Four ambulances, four special operations retrieval unit and a paramedic response unit were sent to the scene on the B9077 South Deeside Road, along with five fire appliances.
None of the children suffered any serious injuries. ....

Heavy rain and melting snow caused the River Dee and other waterways to burst their banks this weekend, causing flooding throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
A number of roads were shut throughout the north-east a result of the weather, including the A93 Ballater to Braemar route, which was closed between Braemar and Crathie when the stretch ended up submerged. ....
