Several dozen former members of the historic boys hockey program came together one last time to honor everything accomplished at Matignon High, which recently closed.
CAMBRIDGE -- Cambridge Matignon School has announced that they will permanently close after the conclusion of the 2022-2023 academic year.
Over the past five years, enrollment at Matignon, which serves grades 9-12, has dropped from about 400 students to a little more than 200.
School leaders say they have not been able to secure the funds they need to support the school long-term and have exhausted all options.
Officials at Cambridge Matignon said they could not "secure the funds necessary to support the long-term sustainability of the school."
