Right now fire investigators are trying to figure out what caused a massive fire in central city this morning. It happened at recycling business on iehl street. Anybody here in central city planned to spend a quiet thanksgiving. I want to move out of the way and show you what is going on. We still have hot spots, still have flareups at the site. A huge explosion, about 8 00 this morning. We are finding out that crews got here and discovered that there were flames shooting into the air. Right now as we said, some hotspots and utility crews still here working on all of this. Being very careful about all of it. People living there by told us they heard a huge blast and several others, then flames shot into the air. Smoke could be seen for at least 5 miles. No reports of any people injured in the explosions. One firefighter did have to be rushed to the hospital for medical issues. One neighbor says she never imagined Something Like this could happen so close to home. Very scary.
