Ed right now, police in townsend are trying to sort out a report of an attempted abduction involving three local teens. The teenage boys told police that an older man tried to grab one of them, and violently attacked another near the town library. A k9 unit was brought in to search for the suspect who the boys say ran off into the woods. That search was inconclusive. Police say they are still investigating but they do not believe the public is in any danger. Maria right now there is now a murder warrant out for the man suspected in the death of a methuen woman.
