Park Remains Open for Viewing New Kīlauea Eruption
Hawaiian Volcano Goddess Pele Rocks Halema'uma'u Crater Pelehonuamea, the Hawaiian goddess of fire and volcanoes, returned to Halemaʻumaʻu Crater Sunday night. Within the first 24 hours of the eruption, hundreds of visitors flocked to the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park (HVNP).
