Centenary of the burning of Milford Creamery
In 1916 Milford Creamery was a well-established aid to dairy farming in the community. Evolving from Milford Dairy Factory to Milford Co-operative Creamery Ltd. was a testament to its success and a boom in agriculture during World War 1, 1914-1918 would further increase activity within the creamery. However, the political climate in Ireland from 1916 onwards was to have a major impact on all aspects of Irish Life.
