What is Bebras? 
Bebras is an international initiative aiming to promote computational thinking among school students at all ages. Participants are usually supervised by teachers who may integrate the Bebras challenge in their teaching activities. The challenge is performed at schools using computers or mobile devices.
The Bebras International Computational Thinking Challenge attracted more than 2.2 million schoolchildren from 40 countries across the world during November 2020, including over 9000 pupils (primary and secondary) from Ireland.

Maynooth University (MU) research has found that seven out of 10 of teachers reported feeling more stress and six out of 10 reported a decline in wellbeing during the first six months of the pandemic.
It also finds that despite experiencing stress, 80% teachers reported having experienced positive psychological growth.
 The “Lessons Learned: The experiences of teachers in Ireland during the 2020 pandemic” research conducted in October 2020 when students had returned to schools, explores teachers’ experiences of the first six months of the pandemic, from the March 2020 lockdown onwards.
