LEN - www.lankaenews.com | Is the current government, the hidden hand in the Easter attack? Why did the current Director of SIS go to Kattankudy and meet Saharan?

By Russel Hewawasam
(Lanka-e-News -10.March.2021, 4.15AM) The current government is deliberately covering up the Easter Sunday attacks on April 21, 2019, the deadliest massacre in Sri Lanka in the last decade.  Meanwhile, both the respondents and the plaintiffs are attacking the dilemma report of the Presidential Commission appointed to investigate the Easter attack.
The Presidential Commission, comprising retired judges of full powers, has been investigating the matter for 15 months and has concluded its report, recalling the popular folklore saying, "There is neither dancing nor drumming."
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appointed a ministerial committee of brilliant experts to delay the release of the report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Easter Attack, which ended on January 27, 2021. It was the responsibility of the President to appoint Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Prasanna Ranatunga, Udaya Gammanpila, Johnston Fernando, Ramesh Pathirana and Chamal Rajapaksa to the "expert" group of ministers in the current government was to "study in depth" the report before it publishing to the made public. It is the assessment of the incumbent President who came to power over the shoulders of the so-called scholars that their subject knowledge is sufficient for such a task.
