Craig McLachlan's first tell-all interview since being acquitted of indecent assault and assault charges in December will premiere on Sunday night.
And just hours before Seven's documentary airs, his devoted partner - pianist Vanessa Scammell - has broken her silence on the 'trauma and devastation' the couple faced amid the three-year legal battle. 
On Sunday, Vanessa told The Telegraph she 'didn't have to ask Craig if any of it was true, I knew', but claims her opinion 'never mattered'.

McLachlan agreed to the Seven interview so people could see the devastating impact the accusations had on him and his family.
'I thought I'd experienced some rock-bottom moments in my life, but nothing comes close to this,' he said in the interview, reports The Australian.

'Really at that point, all you can think about is [that my partner] Nessie is going to be better off without me. My family will be better off without me,' he added.

McLachlan goes on to say that 'in this post-Weinstein, #MeToo world gone mad, I can't win', and then insists: 'It didn't happen.' 
His longtime girlfriend, pianist and conductor Vanessa Scammell, was also interviewed for the Spotlight: Horror Show special.

Scammell says in Monday's trailer that McLachlan was 'abandoned by everybody' after the allegations against him came out.
Earlier this month, McLachlan said his life had been 'ruined' in another teaser trailer for the bombshell interview.
'You see this is not just about a headline for the day, this is ruining lives,' he said in the earlier promo.

In an earlier teaser, the former Neighbours star looks dishevelled, sporting a grey beard and long hair. 
'Hope your lives are good, treasure them because they can be taken away like that,' he says in that video, before snapping his fingers. 
Upset: 'You see this is not just about a headline for the day, this is ruining lives,' McLachlan said in the video. 'Not just me, you want to crucify me? Fine. Look what it's done to my beautiful partner, look what it continues to do to my family every day' 
McLachlan is set to tell all in the upcoming interview, which follows his acquittal on sexual assault charges.
